MLOA – Connecting You to Your Next Getaway Destination

Manitoba is home not only to world-class fishing and hunting opportunities but also to some of the most professional, dedicated, and friendly lodge operators and outfitters you will find anywhere.

The Manitoba Lodges and Outfitters Association (MLOA) represents the province’s fishing, hunting and outdoor tourism operators. Our members are seasoned professionals when it comes to putting you onto big fish and trophy game, but they are also just as dedicated to ensuring all their guests have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience that they will want to re-live year after year. When you come to Manitoba, don’t be surprised if you’re treated like family here and head home as a friend.

From luxurious, all-inclusive northern fly-in lodges to family-friendly resorts on the comfortable edge of the wilderness, our members can accommodate any kind of outdoor adventure for anglers, hunters and sightseers alike. Whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime hunt for our world-renowned black bear or an annual family fishing getaway, our members can make your vacation an unforgettable one.

Who They Are

MLOA is a not-for-profit dedicated to Sustainable Tourism Development as a vital concept for effective management of businesses in the resource tourism industry. The MLOA is committed to developing and sustaining a strong and stable tourism industry in Manitoba that offers the highest quality and diversity of outdoor attractions, vacations and adventures.

The Nature Enhancement Fund (NEF) is a program administered by the MLOA and supported by our members and their guests.

The fund provides grants to support projects or initiatives that produce, promote, or preserve opportunities to fish and/or hunt sustainably or just enjoy the outdoor experiences in Manitoba for visitors and Manitobans alike.

Since the fund’s inception in 2011, the MLOA board has approved more than $80,000 in NEF project grants to organizations like Fish Futures, the Lac du Bonnet Wildlife Association, Generation Next Angler, Swan Valley Sportfishing Enhancement, and many others.
